Celebrating all the things people in Leeds are doing as we stand together against coronavirus.
Say your Big Thank You hereFrom staff and carers on the frontline, to the people who remove our rubbish and keep the power on, from food suppliers keeping shelves stocked and deliveries coming, to volunteers looking out for the more vulnerable people in your area; there has never been a better time to show your appreciation for the key workers and carers in our community.
If you’d like to show your support for frontline staff, key workers and those delivering key services across the city, please share your Big Thank You message here.

I would like to thank all of you for your fantastic work this year and especially those of you who will be giving up your time over Christmas and New Year to keep our hospitals running as well as going out of your way to ensure our patients don’t miss out on festive cheer – you really do a fantastic job and are a credit to your profession.
Thank you so much to Andy for helping me out with some technical issues today – you’ve made this afternoon so much easier. What a star!

Thank you for making some tough wintry months a little less difficult, with the kindest, warmest heart and the patience of a saint!
I would like to thank the health and care system in Leeds for constantly working together to improve services and building them around people’s experiences.
I simply want to say a really big thank you to everybody across the NHS, in all the roles that you do, for coming in and working at a time when maybe you’d prefer to be with family and friends
From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the Trust Board I just want to say a huge thank you to every single one of my colleagues in LYPFT who have worked incredibly hard and will continue to do so running 24/7 services over Christmas and new year. We haven’t seen a let up in demand and workload and staff have more than risen to the challenge focusing on providing the best possible services to the citizens we serve. Winter pressures are not just about A&E – it also affects people with mental health problems and learning disabilities and our services are there to provide that much needed support along with our third sector colleagues too.
I’d also like to give a special thanks to all the staff who have donated to the St George’s Crypt for the homeless this year which was just incredible to see.
BIG thanks for donating so many amazing presents to be given to lonely older people this Christmas

Huge, big, massive thank you to Maureen from Leeds for all she is doing to bring people together in Leeds on Christmas Day who would otherwise be alone, for example people like Veronica. They both did a great job, spreading the importance of looking out for our neighbours, who maybe isolated and alone during the winter months, on ITV Calendar on 16 Dec. Thank you Maureen and Veronica for sharing your personal stories to help others. #OurNeighbours
