We would like to say a very Big Thank You to our incredible team of Leeds Jewish Welfare Board Carers. All of our Carers, both domiciliary (Moorcare) and residential work day and night whatever the weather, to make sure that each and every person gets the attention and support they need. For many people these carers serve as real lifeline, supporting not only their physical needs but also caring for their emotional wellbeing. These carers become the closest friends of the people they support, just like family members. We are eternally grateful and thankful for your dedication. Big thank you to the staff on RCU at st James hospital. I came in very ill and the care I received from all staff on there was amazing. I was actually sad to leave for another ward. As weird as that sounds as it meant I was getting better. Special thanks to charge nurse Sam.

I’d like to say a Big Thank You to the incredible team at Carers Leeds for supporting thousands of unpaid carers across our fantastic city.
Carers frequently share their views of our service with me and hearing our team referred to as ‘a lifeline’, making people feel that are ‘not alone’ and that ‘there’s always someone to talk to’ makes me feel privileged to lead this team.
I’d like to thank every staff member and volunteer for continuing to fight
for carers, give them a voice, and make Leeds the best city for carers.
