Celebrating all the things people in Leeds are doing as we stand together against coronavirus.

Say your Big Thank You here

From staff and carers on the frontline, to the people who remove our rubbish and keep the power on, from food suppliers keeping shelves stocked and deliveries coming, to volunteers looking out for the more vulnerable people in your area; there has never been a better time to show your appreciation for the key workers and carers in our community.

If youโ€™d like to show your support for frontline staff, key workers and those delivering key services across the city, please share your Big Thank You message here.

A Big Thank You to NHS

A huge thank you to our brilliant and courageous NHS for all that you do day in and day out, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. You are definitely our heroes and I thank you for all of your hard work and team working skills. This message is for all bands of workers because everybody has an important role to play in keeping the hospitals working efficiently and effectively.

A Big Thank You to All at the NHS

A huge thank you to all NHS staff. You are all so so important what ever job you do, and we know you are all working so hard and long hours. You all deserve the biggest medal of all for putting your own life at risk everyday to save lives. Lots of love to every single one of you and thank you NHS. We love you and we can all get through this.

A Big Thank You to Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust

I will be forever grateful for the exceptional care and treatment I received from Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. I was so fortunate to have access to world-class medical facilities on my doorstep.

Massive thanks to all of our wonderful NHS staff, who go above and beyond the call of duty every single day of the year; never more so than at this extremely challenging time. Your dedication and commitment are second to none – you are worth (more than) your weight in gold.

Thank you so much!

A Big Thank You to all the NHS staff

I just wanted to post a message of support and thanks to all the NHS staff who are busy working and helping to care for us, during such challenging times!… We really do appreciate you all, you are unsung heroes.

In support and to help raise money towards the cause, Jude, our 10 year old son shaved his head and managed to raise a fantastic ยฃ280! We hope it goes some way to making things that little bit easier for you!

Thanks and stay safe.

A Big Thank You to Natalie, Kate, Purdey, Tracy Campey and all midwives at the LGI

Also to any staff who we came across when we came to the LGI in August 2019. We will be forever grateful for the compassion and dignity you gave us when at 26 weeks pregnant we found out my son had died and I gave birth to him stillborn in the Rosemary Suite. I was in such shock at the time that I couldnโ€™t find the words, but 8 months later I know how lucky we are to have been looked after by such amazing NHS staff. You treated Ike with such kindness, just like a living baby.

Now the whole country is grateful for you all, but we already knew how amazing you always were. We will never forget all of you xxx

A Big Thank You to the maternity staff and the neonatal unit at St James hospital

I will be forever grateful to the maternity staff and the neonatal unit at St James university hospital. I am especially grateful to the Doctor who performed my emergency section and the crash team who didn’t give up on my son and got him breathing. He is now a healthy happy 13 month old, I honestly believe I wouldn’t have him today if it wasn’t for everyone involved in assisting with his birth.

I wish I could find out your names to thank you all personally. He had a short stay in hospital but we were soon home to his Daddy and big sister. I will never forget all the help and support I received. The best decision I ever made was to give birth in Leeds
