Thank you for all you do in supporting those facing difficulty with their mental well-being and supporting individuals in a dignified and person centred way with compassionate caring professional approach from all staff, the world is a better place because of people like you. On behalf of myself and some of the other Leeds University students mental health nurses, I’d like to say the biggest thank you to all the team at Ward 5 at the Becklin Centre. You made us all feel so welcome and it was our pleasure to be a part of such a compassionate, caring and fun team. I began placement doubting that I could make it through my nursing training, even contemplating giving up, but now after finishing placement I feel inspired and capable of achieving my dream. Sending the biggest thank you & best wishes for the festive period ❄️❄️

Big Thank You to Dr Melissa Maguire at LGI for taking over my care a year ago and giving me clarity and much needed answers as to what is causing my Seizures with proactive thinking and diagnostics not previously explored. I’m very grateful to have such a great team and services looking after me. Thank You!

I want to say a big thank you to all the Staff at Armley Medical Practice Leeds .. They bought and donated toys for Radio Aire’s Cash For Kids appeal... You are simply the best 👍 This year we have held a Macmaillan coffee morning with a tombola, had a raffle for a pamper hamper that the staff put together in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society..Had an Easter raffle in aid of the RLNI & also continued to support Candlelighters children’s cancer charity. It amazes me how generous you all are and how you all continue to support whatever we do at the practice. Also lets not forget the biggest thank you and that goes to our wonderful patients who are always willing to bake, attend, donate and support everything we do... To be fair it’s a pretty amazing Practice 😍

I wish to thank my team of nurses from the bottom of my heart for the care given to me and to keep me at home.

I would like to thank all the amazing staff at Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service, who will be open right through Christmas and New Year, providing support to people who are distressed, depressed, lonely, anxious, or in crisis during this challenging time of year. The Connect Helpline will be open every night for people who want to talk (free phone 0808 800 1212 6pm-2am). LSLCS will also have a crisis house open every night (phone Connect for more details). The compassionate and caring staff will be working right through Christmas and New Year and deserve a huge thank you for providing out of hours' crisis support 365 days a year

I want to send a huge thank you to the staff on the delivery suite at St James Hospital, especially Fazeela our midwife who brought our son Louie into the world on 18 November.

I want to thank the staff at St James rheumatology department for being super efficient at my November appointment. They were busy but the service I have received was great. Thank you.

I would like to thank my fabulous work colleagues. I spend a lot of time with them and they make me laugh everyday and I believe that's the best medicine.

A big thank you to all those who keep our emergency services providing those services 24/7, those who keep our postal service and our roads clear and running. Thank you to those working nights and weekends for keeping our shops filled and all those services we take for granted will always be there for us.

A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers who work on the Connect Helpline and at Dial House. A high quality of listening and holistic support is always provided. A great organisation and service!

A big thank you to the Young Adult Carer Support Workers who provide a holistic package of support and numerous groups/outings/activities for us (particularly, an increasing number of events for December). Thank you to the Advice Line staff who listen and provide telephone support in times of crisis (particularly listening to me over the last 1/2 months)

Thank you for collecting clothing, bedding and food for the homeless this winter. It makes a massive difference to those in need.

A MASSIVE Thank You to all the volunteers and supporters of the RSPCA Leeds and Wakefield Branch. You are amazing and we couldn't rescue and rehome the animals we do without your help!

I’d like to say a BIG thank you to my amazing cardiologist Professor Kearney at the LGI - and the amazing cardiology team of surgeons, nurses and doctors for saving my life six years ago!

I’d like to say a big Thank You to Leeds council for replacing bulbs on 13 street lights along my running route, making it safe again.

I want to say THANK YOU to the Leeds City Council street team that came and picked up all the litter from Farsley after a recycling bin was blown over and littered the lane. Keeping our streets free of litter at this time of year a big THANKS!!
