A Big Thank You to J28 St James hospital

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff on J28 at St James hospital. Our mum was admitted in the early hours of 30th December, it was obvious that mum was coming to the end of her life, even though they were extremely busy, we were all cared for with superb sensitivity and compassion. My sister, brother and I were looked after beautifully. Everyone from the housekeepers, to the porter, the nurses, health healthcare assistants and doctors were truly amazing. Mum died peacefully with dignity surrounded by her children. I am so proud of the team on J28, and want them to know it.

A Big Thank You to St. James A&E

I want to say a massive thank you to A&E at St James Hospital - we were in there on a very busy night - the staff were working so hard, our mum was very poorly, and we were cared for with such compassion - nothing was too much trouble. It turns out that we were there for the last few hours of mum's life, and they arranged transfer to a ward area as quickly as possible. I am so proud of the staff that night - we couldn't have asked for anything more.

A Big Thank You to Ward A20 ICU at Airedale

I would like to thank everyone who was involved in my dads care at Airedale hospital. My dad was in a very critical position and lucky he’s alive now. You all saved my dads life “literally”. You all know who you are and I hope you get to read this. I hope you got to read the postcard I left too. I got to spend Christmas with my dad. Lots of love the Atkinson’s.
